Say
the name “Venice” and conjured up instantly are images of St. Mark’s
Square, and gondola rides down the Grand Canal. Venice has a unique
character, with its charmingly narrow streets and breathtaking
architecture, the city itself is an artistic masterpiece. Continuing to
attract visitors year after year are the famous sites such as St. Mark’s
Basilica, Doge’s Palace, and the Galleria dell’Accademia, to name just a
few.

the Palazzo Ducale di Venezia (Doge's Palace) and on to other famous

Florence is one of the most beautiful cities in Italy and the world. It
gave birth to many of the men who have most profoundly influenced the
course of human history in every field of knowledge, art, literature and
philosophy. Most of the world artistic patrimony is believed to be here,
in Florence. Florentia, the city of flowers was the place where the
Renaissance grew and anticipated Enlightenment and thus Modernity as a
whole. The cultural and historical impact of Florence is overwhelming.
Close up, however, the city is one of Italy's most atmospheric and
pleasant, retaining a strong resemblance to the small late-medieval
centre that contributed so much to the artistic and political
development of Europe. Its striking buildings, formidable galleries and
treasure-crammed churches attest to the Florentine love of display.
Through the centuries,
Florence has
upheld its elegant appearance: its skyline,
all russet rooftops and lofty domes, is indeed picturesque.
>
HALF DAY WALKING TOUR OF FLORENCE:
Your private guided
tour is an enchanting walk through the city
of Florence, often referred to as the "Cradle of Renaissance."
This tour will take you through the historical streets to the Duomo
complex with Giotto's bell tower, the Baptistery with its bronze doors
including the famous Porta del Paradiso, and the Cathedral with the
magnificent Cupola del Brunelleschi. The highlight of your day will be
a visit to the Uffizi Gallery or the Accademia Museum.

No
other city in the world equals the history of the Eternal City. Founded
more than 2700 years ago, the city of Rome reigned as the Caput Mundi,
or Capital of the World.
With a heady blend of artistic and architectural masterpieces, classical
ruins, and extravagant baroque churches and piazzas, Rome is Italy's
treasure trove, packed with two millennia of artistic achievement. It's
here that a metropolis once bustled around the carved marble monuments
of the Roman Forum, where centuries later Michelangelo Buonarroti
(1475-1564) painted Christian history in the Sistine Chapel, where Gian
Lorenzo Bernini's nymphs and naiads dance in their fountains, and where
an empire of gold was worked into the crowns of rulers for centuries.
For culture-seekers and historians,
this city simply oozes with possibilities for discovery, a chance to
step back in time yet have one foot firmly in the present. It’s
a city where
you can have an espresso in a square designed by Bernini, then take
the
modern metro back to your hotel room in a renovated Renaissance palace.
>
HALF DAY WALKING TOUR OF ROME:
Your private tour will take you on a journey through Rome; a city in
which the power and the glory of the Great Roman Empire developed and
extended. Your guide will
walk you
through the enchanting ruins of the Imperial-era, beginning with the
Piazza Venezia and its impressive monument dedicated to King Victor
Emanuel II and the Unknown Soldier. You will continue to the famous
Piazza del Campidoglio designed by Michelangelo, from where you will
have a breathtaking view of the Roman Forum. With the remains of the
Forum as a backdrop, your guide will present the history and anecdotes
on the social and political life of Rome, from its origin to the
glorious days of the Great Roman Empire. Proceed to the imposing
Coliseum, iconic symbol of Imperial Rome, and one of the most impressive
building of the Imperial-era.
DAY 10-13: (Amalfi coast)
> Private Car
Transfer & Tour from Rome to Amalfi Coast

Hotel Options)
Your driver will pick you up from your Rome hotel for your private
transfer to
your hotel along
the Amalfi Coast. En route, you will stop
at the ancient city of Pompeii where you will enjoy a two-hour
tour with a private guide. Pompeii was
buried following the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79AD. Your guide will
take you through the ancients streets, baths, forums, and homes of this
2000 year old city that
were
miraculously preserved by volcanic ash.
The Amalfi Coast is
a beautiful and renowned stretch of mountainous coastline south of
Naples, in Campania. The southern end of the Bay of Naples stretches out
in a steep and rocky peninsula that reaches towards the
Isle of Capri.
Sorrento,
another major tourist destination, looks back towards Naples from the
north coast of the peninsula. The southern side of the peninsula is
dotted with picturesque villages and towns clinging giddily to cliffs;
this is what is known as the Amalfi Coast. Surrounded by steep,
rugged mountain cliffs 700 meters high that drop dramatically into the
deep blue Mediterranean,
it has been a magnet for the rich and famous for
over 50 years.
The Amalfi coast is unique in the world for its natural beauty,
breath-taking views, colors and characteristics. Small fishing villages
are scattered in clusters, upon the front face of the mountain. Villas,
churches and corner shops are built cut out of the rock,
one on top of
each other,
climbing up the mountain from the water's edge.
The buildings
are surrounded by beautifully kept gardens and terraces, narrow pebbled
streets and endless steps, lemon trees, grape and olive vines and the
perfume of nature. It is a presence rich in history and culture, which
is still alive today, among so many artistic memories of the past.
Amalfi introduced nautical
instruments, such as the compass, and ideas
such as the fundamentals of navigation, to the West. From these roots,
originated the friendly hospitality and generosity of the people from
the Coast,
thoughtful towards visitors and travelers, today as yesterday.
